Day 1: Mandalay - Mingun - Myayzun village, overnight on board (B/--/--)

Morning scenic driving on the Ayeyarwaddy by fishermen’s boat for dolphin sightseeing boat will give you unforgettable event in your life time. After one hour, we go sightseeing: the biggest temple, bells and lion statues of Myanmar in Mingun village. Proceed to Myayzun village where is 45km from Mandalay, for exploration of Ayeyarwaddy dolphins. On the way, we can see dolphins near the villages such as Seinpengone, Indown, Sheinmakar. Upon the arrival of Myayzun village lies on the eastern bank of the river, visit fishermen houses and chatting with old fishermen and their family for their experiences. This village is very famous for their fishing together with Ayeayarwaddy dolphin in their traditional method. In the evening, we stroll in the village to visit Snake Vomit Pagoda of 12 century and observe the way of life of the villagers and their local communities. Enjoy the sunset on the bank of the mighty river, Ayeyarwaddy. In the evening enjoy the sunset follow by exclusive dinner with the bonfire on the sand island of mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. After bonfire party, overnight stay on boat.

Day 2: Return to Mandalay

After breakfast, we will start our dolphin exploration by small fishermen’s boat and canoes along the river. We will approach to dolphin by small canoes because dolphin will afraid the noise of boat’s engine. When the fishermen start to make a strange sound such as guttural by tapping with paddle, bamboo stick on the side of canoes, the dolphin will come and show their tail to cooperate for their fishing and chase to boat closely. (Dolphin and fishermen communicate each other by audio visual signals for their cooperation fishing). Dolphins will show their tails on the vertical position to stop the boat and beat the water surface by the tails to capture the fish by casting their net quickly.A few minutes later, the fishermen will get abundant fishes inside the net and they will throw some fishes to feed the dolphins as their share of cooperation fishing. After they take some rest more or less 20 minutes, they will start similar cooperation fishing for the second time. They will keep fishing some more time till receiving their daily rations. Saying “good-bye” to the fishermen and Ayeyarwaddy dolphins, we leave for Mandalay. It is incredible scene and amazing mutual understanding between human and animals for cooperative fishing as “Seeing is Believing”. Sail back to Mandalay enjoying the fantastic view of Ayeyawaddy River.
