Yangon - Thanlyin - Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon (5Days/4Nights)

DAY 1 Arrive Yangon ( - / L / D )
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to Hotel. Yangon sightseeing includes Botataung Pagoda at the bank of Yangon river, then city center where Sule Pagoda located to see the bustling life of Yangon and City Hall. Then visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (former Scott’s Market), where one can buy many items in one place. This Market was built in British colonial times and has a colonial shape. “Chaukhtathgyi Pagoda” it is the fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67m long. In the evening, visit the most magnificent and spectacular religious edifice, Shwedagon Pagoda before the sun set and enjoy the beauty stupa while it changes the shining of gold in different tones according to the radiant of the setting sun. Enjoy dinner at Karaweik Palace Restaurant with traditional cultural dance. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Day 02 Yangon - Thanlyin (coach/boat) ( B / L / D )
After breakfast, take excursion to Thanlyin (Syriam), an ancient seaport of Myanmar. Visit Kyaik Khauk Pagoda, the large golden pagoda and rising on a hillock to the north of the road, Thanlyin Market along the riverside. You can feel the real way of life.  Proceed to Kyauk Tan and visit the Yay Le Pagoda set on a tiny island amidst the middle stream of the river. Then back to Yangon. Then transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight in Yangon.


DAY 3 Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (coach) ( B / L / D )
After an early breakfast, drive to Kin Pun “base camp” ( 194km- 5hours ).Continue to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leave sand delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun, a steep and rough 11 km dirt road leads to the upper staging point, a journey made in open trucks, which are very crowded. From the “upper area ”, travelers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Golden Rock. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost. On arrival, Lunch at local restaurant en route or at base camp and watch the beauty of sunset or dawn at this important pilgrimage site. Stay overnight in Yangon.

DAY 04 Kyaikhtiyo - Bago � Yangon (coach) ( B / L / D )
 
After breakfast, back to Yangon, via Bago [110 km/8 hours]. Bago sightseeing includes “Kanbawzathardi Palace” the famous palace of King Bayinnaung (1551-1581 A.D.) is being extensively excavated and some buildings are being rebuilt. “Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda” was originally built by the Mon to a height to 23 meters in the 8th century and was rebuilt higher several times until it finally reached its present 114 meter stature in 1954, the highest pagoda in Myanmar. “Shwethalyaung Pagoda” Built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, It is 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th century.  “Kyeik Pun Pagoda” It was built by King Dhamma Zedi in 1476 A.D, four gigantic Buddha images all in sitting posture facing the four cardinal points of the compass. After sightseeing, be continuous to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at Yangon.


DAY 05 Departure (coach) ( B / L / D )

  Time at leisure to pursue individual interests until your transfer to the airport. Your guide will pick you up the hotel and accompany you to the airport. Departure from Yangon.
