Yangon-Mandalay-Monywa-Naga Land-Khamti-Mandalay-Yangon

Our expedition will be going right through the center of Naga region where we will be meeting some out of the total 68 tribes. Starting from Mandalay to Monywa we will be driving through the largest lowland forest of Myanmar called Mahamyaing forest. After crossing the Chindwi River and traveling a short distance you will be entering the Nagan Hiills. You will be busy shaking hands with Naga warriors wearing hats made from bear fur, wild boar tusks, hornbill feathers, and tiger claws. Some also have tiger fangs hanging from their necklaces

DAY 01 ARRIVAL YANGON Welcome inside the terminal. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Orientation tour Yangon if time permits. Visit the Sule Pagoda, the Bothahtaung Pagoda. Finally, visit the Shwedagon Pagoda during the sunset time. Overnight accommodation at the hotel in Yangon.

DAY 02 MORNING HLAWGAR PARK, EVENING FLIGHT TO MANDALAY, DRIVE TO MONYWA
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Hlawgar Wild life park to observe the wild-animals. Back to Yangon and in the late afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, drive to Monywa. Overnight accommodation at the hotel in Monywa. DAY 03 DRIVE TO TAUNG INN
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Taung In. Overnight in Taung In.

DAY 04 TO HOMMALIN Morning, proceed to Homalin after breakfast. Overnight in Hommalin.

DAY 05 TO TAMANTHI EVENING BIRDING TAMANTHI After breakfast, proceed to Tamanthi. Birding and overnight.

DAY 06 TO MODONFI EVENING BIRDING MODONFI Morning, proceed to Modonfi. Birding and overnight.

DAY 07 TO MODONWAMA Morning, proceed to Modonwa. Birding and overnight.

DAY 08 TO VETVAIR Proceed to Vetvair. Overnight.

DAY 9 TO WON-BE Continue to Won-be. Overnight.

DAY 10 TO CAMP Proceed to camp. Overnight in the camp.

DAY 11 BIRDING CAMP Birding and overnight.

DAY 12 BIRDING CAMP Birding and overnight.

DAY 13 TO WON-BE Proceed to Won-be. Overnight.

DAY 14 TO VET-VAIR Continue to Vet-vair. Overnight.

DAY 15 TO MODONYWAMA Continue to Modonywama. Overnight.

DAY 16 TO TAMANTHI Proceed to Tamanthi. Overnight.

DAY 17 TO KHAMTI Morning, back to Khamti. Overnight in the guesthouse.

DAY 18 FLY TO MANDALAY Morning, after breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Leisure and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

DAY 19 DEPARTURE Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for the departure flight.
