Day 01 Ruli [Shwe Li] - Muse
Arrive at Ruli [which is the boarder between China and Myanmar], after clearing customs and immigration formalities welcome by our guide and proceed to Muse. Check-in the hotel. Sightseeing in Muse includes the general market, panoramic view from Bo Te, Shwe Tha Min Pagoda. Leave for NamKhan and sightseeing in Shan Traditional village. Spend the night at hotel in Muse.
Day 02 Muse – Lashio [ By Car ]
After breakfast, drive to Lashio on the way take a rest at Kook Khine. Arrive Lashio and check-in Hotel. Sightseeing around Lashio. . Spend the night at hotel in Lashio.
Day 03 Lashio – PyinOo Lwin
After breakfast, visit Lashio’s vegetable market, Quan Yin Temple and Pyi Lone Chan Tha Pagoda. Proceed to drive on a scenic route to the cool hill station of Pyin Oo Lwin [May Myo], with its lovely lake and waterfalls, botanical garden and colonial buildings. Visit to Peik Chin Myaung Caves, since ancient times a Buddhist shrine and proceed to Pwe Kauk Waterfalls, a favorite picnic spot for local people. Spend the night at hotel in PyinOoLwin.
Day 04 PyinOoLwin – Mandalay
In the morning drive to Mandalay. Sightseeing on the way. Arrive to Mandalay and check-in to Hotel. Spend the night at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 05 Mandalay
Sightseeing tour in Mandalay including Mahamuni Pagoda, with its spectaculat Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, Shwe Inbin, one of the most outstanding monasteries in the country, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung or Golden Palace Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building, Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the World Biggest Book for its 729 stone slabs of Buddhist Scriptures. A visit is also made to a jetty to observe daily life at the river and to a craftsmen's workshop to see Kalaga tapestries being created. Then visit to Mandalay hill, advantage-point for panoramic view of the city. Spend the night at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 06 Mingun – Amarapura [ By Boat ]
After breakfast, morning sightseeing and excurssion to Mingun. Tour highlights - Myatheindan Pagoda, Mingun village, Mingun Bell Settawaya Pagoda, Unifinished Pagoda and Home for the age. Afternoon sightseeing. Mandalay Museum, Mahamuni Pagoda, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung, Shwe Inbin Monastery and traditional handicraft workshop. Excursion by road to ancient capital of Amarapura, 15 kilometers south of Mandalay, visit Mahagandayon Monastery; a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study, continue to 1.2 Km long 200 years old U Bein Bridge, built of huge teak logs salvaged form Ava Royal Palace. Visit Bagaya Monastery, with a superb collection of Buddha statues. Return back and over night in Mandalay.
Day 07 Innwa [Ava] – Sagaing [ By Car , Boat ]
Excursion to the former Royal Capital of Innwa [Ava], tour highlights with horse cart to Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, ruins of ancient Ava, Watch Tower, fort walls and brick causeway. Return to Sagaing. Afternoon, drive over 1 kilometer long bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River to Sagaing Hills, with numerous Pagodas and monasteries and a retreat for Buddhist devotees for sunset. Return to Mandalay. Spend the night at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 08 Mandalay – Monywa [ By Car ]
After breakfast, proceed to Monywa [150 km 4 hours]. Visit en route the Thanboddhay Pagoda; 8465 small stupas are rising up to richly decorated central stupa, which is reminding a bit of Borobudur in Java. Take a walk through the nearby banyan tree grove Boddhi-Tataung with the thousand Buddha images sitting at the foot of each tree and enjoy the view from Aung Setkaya Pagoda, standing 130 meter high on the Po Khaung hills. After lunch at simple local restaurant, cross the Chindwin River by ferry boat and proceed by pickup or jeep [40 km - 1 hours] to Hpo Win Daung, a system of impressive sandstone caves containing Buddha statues, wood carvings and fine mural paintings mainly in Innwa-style, some dating back to 15th century. Dozens of large and small caves with about 450,000 images are hidden in the area of the Hpo Win Hills. Spend the night at hotel in Monywa.
Day 09 Monywa – Pakkoku – Bagan by boat
After breakfast, drive to Pakokku (4 hours). On the arrival visit this busy market town and its local cheroot factory, Board then a boat to cross the Irrawady River (2 hours) and reach Bagan, a world heritage site considered the spiritual heritage of the old Myanmar. Check into hotel then sunset from the Shwesandaw Pagoda. Spend the night in Bagan.
Day 10 Bagan
After breakfast, stroll through the colorful local market continue the day with visits to the most significant Pagodas and temples of Bagan including Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Ku Byauk Gyi, a temple with superb murals of Jataka scenes; Lhay Min Ga Temple, noted for its panoramic view of the area's numerous and Ananda Temple, with four standing Buddha images. In the afternoon, visit one of Myanmar's most treasured handicrafts, a lacquerware craftsmet's workshop in nearby Myinkaba village. You will continue to Manuha Temple, built in the Mon -style in 1059 and follow on to Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Mauha. Next you will explore the Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, a temple noteworthy for its mural paintings under the protection of Unesco. Proceed to Bupaya Pagoda or Mingalazedi Stupa to watch the sunset over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River. Spend the night at hotel in Bagan.
Day 11 Bagan
After breakfast, visit the site of Tayokepyay Temple in Min Nan Thu Village, Paya Thone Zu and Nandamanya Temple noted for exquisite murals of 13th century and Kyat Kan Cave Monastery, a famous meditation center in Bagan. Visit the farming villages around Bagan. In the afternoon, an excursion to the nostalgic Nat Htaung Kyaung, a wooden monastery built in 1781 by a group of monks, famous for woodcarvings, a collection of ancient Buddha statues and lacquer boxes. Spend the night at hotel in Bagan.
Day 12 Bagan - Mt. Popa – Kalaw
After the early breakfast, drive to visit the Mount. Popa, an extinct volcano with spectacular views. It’s shrine is dedicated to animist spirits known as "Nat" and you will have time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the peak. In the late afternoon you will reach Kalaw, a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan Plateau, which is a market center for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions. Spend the night at hotel in Kalaw.
Day 13 Kalaw Treeking
After breakfast, treeking to Palaung Hills in Kalaw surrounding area and visit the hill tribes’ villages in their colourful costumes. Then, drive about 1:30 to the small quiet town Pindaya enjoying the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Pindaya. Lunch and dinner at the local restaurants. Then return to hotel and overnight. [ Treeking can normally be started early in the morning so it is necessary for an overnight stay in Kalaw before treeking. And closet tribal village would take at least 2 hours to and for apart from visiting hours in the village.
Day 14 Kalaw - Pindaya - Inle [ By Car ]
After breakfast drive to visit Pindaya caves, unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries. Sightseeing amoung the Shan State hills wander around the town and the “ Shan State Musem”. The journey continues on a narrow, winding and bumpy road through the Shan Hills to Inle. Spend the night at hotel in Inle.
Day 15 Inle Lake
After breakfast, an excursion by boat on Inle Lake [ about 54 hrs ], to see the Intha-fishermen rowing with their legs, Pagoda on artificial islands in the lake, floating gardens and floating market [ on market's day only ], continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the main principle shrines in Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century; the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks and the weaving village of Inpawkhon. Spend the night at hotel in Nyaung Shwe.
Day 16 Inle - Heho - Yangon [ By Flight ]
Morning Innlay lake sightseeing - Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, wonderful floating gardens, floating market natives method of fishing and village life on the lake. Evening fly back to Yangon. Spend the night at Hotel in Yangon.
Day 17 Yangon
After breakfast, sightseeing tour in Yangon includes, visit to Chaukhtatgyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, Karawaeik hall, a 'hamsa-bird-shaped' floating barge on Kandawgyi [Royal Lake], an extended visit to one the world's most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda. The tour continue to visit to Bagyoke [Scot's] Market, with hundreds of stores and visit a gems shop, visit Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,500 years ago; continue to Botahtaung Pagoda beside the river and visit Yangon's oldest Chinese Temple. Spend the night at hotel in Yangon.
Day 18 Departure
